06: Not turn AC on and miscellaneous

The flat faces the mouth of the river, about 300 meters from the sea, and the room layout was planned as every old condominium has been considered the ventilation was well thought out, so I think the ventilation is probably good. So, I haven't experienced how much the room temperature will rise in the middle of summer, but I don't feel the need for an air conditioner at the moment (of course, I'll have to see how it goes in the next few months). However, since I'm away from work during the day, I'm hoping that if I go out with the small windows to the south and north that are safe from intruders, I'll be able to survive all summer season without an air conditioner for a few hours in the evening after returning home and a few hours in the morning after waking up.
The flat I lived in until now was on the 4th floor of a 6-story building, so it was a daily routine for me to go out with the window facing the balcony open. However, a new one here, it's on the second floor, and there's a road just below, so the possibility of a burglary is somewhere in your head. When I think about it like that, I feel once again that as an architect, it is important to use small openings to ensure constant ventilation.
Other than that, as I wrote earlier, the air flow can be secured through the small window, the ventilation fan connected to the bath and toilet are turned on only when necessary. I have a refrigerator, but it's small and I try not to store food as much as possible (I cook and consume what I buy). Fridges often contain nothing but milk and yogurt. On the other hand, in a sense, I'm using it as a luxury by putting food waste away in the refrigerator until garbage day.
